Coorie Retreats
Luxury glamping in Portpatrick on the Galloway coast: geodomes and secret garden cabins, each with its own hot tub, plus two resident Highland cows.
Coorie Retreats is a luxury glamping site in Portpatrick, on the coast of the Rhins of Galloway in south west Scotland. Coorie is a Scots word for nestling in, and the whole site is built around it: geodomes and secret garden cabins, each with an en suite bedroom, a kitchen, central heating and its own automated wood pellet hot tub, heated and ready for arrival.
The seven units are Dalriada Den, Hillside Haven, Bonnie Brae, Glen Getaway, Portside Pasture, Clyde Croft and Ennis Esk.
It calls itself Scotland’s most popular glamping experience, and the details explain why: an outdoor cinema, fire pits, towels, robes and a local produce hamper, and two resident Highland cows, Angus and Winston, that guests can brush and feed.
