About TR2 Group

Building places worth returning to

TR2 Group acquires and reimagines independent hospitality businesses across the UK, turning great locations into thriving, guest centred destinations.

Our story

From city apartments to a group of brands

TR2 Group was founded in 2020 by Tomas Robertson, who has spent more than ten years hosting guests in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Coorie Home Stays, our systemised serviced accommodation business, is where those years of hosting were turned into repeatable systems for pricing, guest communication and housekeeping. The group now applies the same systems to rural and coastal stays: luxury glamping at Coorie Retreats near Portpatrick, a nine bedroom guest house, cottage and shepherd's hut on the Isle of Skye, and, since 2025, Brecon View, a lodge retreat on the edge of the Brecon Beacons in Carmarthenshire.

Today TR2 Group is the parent company for all of these brands. We specialise in finding hospitality assets that are underperforming or ready for their next chapter, and in reimagining them as profitable places guests love.

How we work

Design, systems and genuine hospitality

Thoughtful design

We invest in the spaces themselves: interiors, hot tubs, saunas and the small details that turn a stay into a story guests tell their friends.

Operational systems

Dynamic pricing, channel management, automated guest messaging and reliable housekeeping, shared across every business in the group.

Local character

Every brand keeps its own name and feel. We protect what made it special and the people who made it work.

The group

Our brands

Each business trades under its own name and books through its own website.

Tomas Robertson

Founder and Director

We are not just building places to stay. We are building destinations worth returning to.

Tomas founded TR2 Group in 2020 after more than a decade operating holiday lets, serviced apartments and glamping in Scotland. He leads deal sourcing, investor relations and strategic operations across the group.

His approach is hands on. Every business in the portfolio is run by the same operating team, using the same systems for pricing, guest communication and housekeeping, while each brand keeps its own character and local feel.

In 2025 he acquired Brecon View, a lodge retreat on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, adding Wales to a portfolio that already ran from Glasgow and Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye and the Galloway coast. He is always looking for the next characterful business with room to grow.

Always looking
