Brecon View Eco Retreat

Brecon View is five private eco lodges in Garnant, where the Black Mountain meets the green valleys of Carmarthenshire, on the edge of Bannau Brycheiniog (the Brecon Beacons). Every lodge has its own hot tub, four have a private sauna, and the Black Mountain and Llyn y Fan Fach are about fifteen minutes away.

The five lodges are Rosemary, Thyme, Love Nest, Lavender and Mint.

It was built as one of the first zero carbon lodge businesses in Welsh tourism. TR2 Group bought it in April 2025, through Christie & Co, and runs it as a romantic, slow down escape: private hot tubs, saunas and big mountain skies, with dinner in and nowhere to be.

What makes it work

• Built for couples and celebrations. Proposal, anniversary, birthday and romantic surprise setups are offered as add ons, and the journal and offers pages are written for those searches.
• Direct bookings. Guests book direct on the Brecon View website from £130 a night, with no platform fees, plus gift cards and an offers mailing list.
• Dog friendly. Dogs are welcome in every lodge.
• Easy stays. Self check in with a lockbox and free parking outside each lodge.

Getting there

Pen y Fan and Carreg Cennen Castle are 30 to 35 minutes away, Swansea about 30 minutes, and Cardiff about an hour.
